Recently, Shougang Gases’s “Wang Linzhang Innovation Studio” was honored with two prestigious awards: 2023 Municipal-level (Demonstrative) Employees’ Innovation Studio and 2023 Excellence in Mentorship. These two honors signify not only the recognition of the Beijing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and Shougang Group for the work of the “Wang Linzhang Innovation Studio”, but also the affirmation of the achievements of Shougang Gases in technological innovation, management innovation, and talent development.

Established in 2010, the “Wang Linzhang Innovation Studio” is an innovation studio designated by the Beijing Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission, and the only municipal-level innovation studio within Shougang Gases. Wang Linzhang, a labor model of Shougang, leads the team to focus on the enterprise’s philosophy of safe and green development. By conducting in-depth technological research, enhancing technological literacy, and strengthening team collaboration, the studio continuously drives the high-quality development of Shougang Gases through innovative achievements.

In recent years, the “Wang Linzhang Innovation Studio” has successfully addressed nine technological challenges, including upgrading the safety technology of hydrogen production converters and burners, enhancing the nitrogen delivery capacity of nitrogen production units, and achieving breakthroughs in the localization of aerospace electric propellants. It has accumulated 17 national utility model patents and three national invention patents.

Moving forward, the team of the studio will seize this opportunity to continue upholding the spirit of innovation and craftsmanship, and embodying the essence of public practical activities themed “Leading in One Aspect and Integrating into Two Perspectives”. The studio will further leverage its role as a “pioneering force in scientific research,” focus on difficulties and priorities in carrying out technological research, actively solve problems, build a core team, continuously cultivate high-end compound technical and skilled talents, and persistently strengthen its function as an innovation studio with high-tech talents, thereby contributing more wisdom and strength to the high-quality development of Shougang Gases.
