Recently, Shougang Zhixin Qian’an Electromagnetic Materials Co., Ltd. was awarded the 2023 “Shen’an Cup” for High-quality Installation Projects in Shanghai, along with a trophy and certificate of honor, for the First Section Installation Project of the High-performance Grain-oriented Silicon Steel Project, which was supervised by the Chengxin Supervision Company.

Organized and evaluated by the Shanghai Installation Industry Association, the “Shen’an Cup” is the highest honor for installation project quality in Shanghai. The winning project was jointly declared for the “Shen’an Cup” by the Chengxin Supervision Company and the construction unit, MCC5 Group Shanghai Corp., Ltd.

Shougang Zhixin Electromagnetic’s High-performance Grain-oriented Silicon Steel Project is the world’s first specialized production line capable of producing 100% thin-gauge, high-magnetic induction grain-oriented electrical steel. Since undertaking the supervision task of this project, the Qian’an Branch of the Chengxin Supervision Company consistently adhered to the work style of “rigor, pragmatism, innovation, and efficiency.” During the supervision process, it actively implemented the requirements of the company’s Implementation Plan for Creating Quality Projects, comprehensively controlled all aspects of the project, and ensured smooth progress in the project’s quality, safety, and schedule. With professional technology and high-quality services, it has won high praise from the owner.

The First Supervision Department of the Qian’an Branch was guided by the goal orientation of “Double Striving” and took the “Standardization of Supervision Work” as a benchmark. Professional supervision engineers strictly followed the document requirements, from the construction organization design and approval of professional plans before the commencement of work to the compilation of supervision details, ensuring pre-control. During the construction process, they inspected every batch of materials, every process, every node, and every acceptance without omission or mistake, and never missed any quality or safety hazards. They fully prioritized the project’s needs, considered everything from the project’s perspective, never shirked their responsibilities, did not delay, and served the project’s construction in all aspects.

The project department adhered to the principle of “quality first” and conducted full-process tracking and supervision from the construction preparation stage to the completion acceptance stage, ensuring that the project’s quality met the design requirements and relevant standards. It organized 113 joint inspections of on-site construction quality, issued 65 supervision notices, and achieved a 100% rectification rate for quality issues. After more than 600 days of hard work, with the joint efforts of all parties involved in the construction, the High-performance Grain-oriented Silicon Steel Project was completed and put into production five months ahead of schedule, becoming a “demonstration project for the construction of Shougang’s steel industry.”
