It has shifted its product mix to high-end sheets and boutique long steel products, thus forming the five product series clusters of hot-rolling coils, cold-rolling coils, electric steel, heavy plates and long steel products, with its market shares increasing continuously. At present, the Group is focusing on the better development of the steel industry and fostering comprehensive competitiveness by putting equal emphasis on the manufacturing industry and service industry. More specifically, on the one hand, the Group sets the satisfaction of high-end customer demands as the goal driving its conversion from a product manufacturer to a comprehensive service provider, and makes efforts to produce high-quality steel products with strong competitiveness in international markets so as to become a reliable service provider oriented to high-end customers; on the other hand, the Group sets efficient operation and systematic coordination as its goal, and takes joint-stock companies as the platforms for building its steel business management platform, thereby monitoring the development of the steel industry in a ‘strategic control manner’ and improve the operating efficiency of the whole group and each affiliated company.
